Thank you Rafael for your inquiry.
Not sure as far as I know the wood arrows are not as durable and I would never even consider shooting them out of a compound bow.
You are taking a lot of risk, and what for?
Carbon and even aluminum arrows are far superior to wooden arrows.
I would tell you to Google Ted Nugent shooting wooden arrow video.Neil Hildebrand - Hildebrand arrow shafts
As the compound releases slower than a traditional bow , I would assume that on release the compound would be easier on the arrow, The unknown to me would be at the target end. The compound hits at much higher speeds that a trad bow, But as far as being safe on release I would say you would be every bit as safe. 70 lbs is 70 pounds whether longbow or compound, Jacob Wiebe - [Você precisa estar registrado e conectado para ver este link.]
I can tell you that when we developed the Split Pine Hexshaft, we purposely used compound bows to test the shaft for safety and durability. We found that the hexshaft outlasted aluminum arrows in the woods when we did the stump shooting tests and they also stood up to repeated abuse by shooting them directly against a heavy steel plate. When using a compound bow I would recommend matching the spine weights with the strength of the bow and always check the arrow for structural soundness before shooting.Cody Powell - GoldTip
Although some wooden shafts are very tuff, I would not recommend shooting them out of any compound bow over 50 lbs. im not sure where you can find any info on them other than contacting a wooden shaft supplier. Maybe call 3 rivers archery.
